How love gradually builds up its pace between two unknown people when they are bonded in an arranged marriage is very beautifully depicted in the serial, “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.” This one has a very simple, yet very touch story line. The story resembles the everyday life of a young girl whom her parents have brought up with much love and care and then arranged her marriage to a totally unknown person. It is really amazing to experience how the young girl turns into a matured woman with the many responsibilities of a family.
Hina Khan, starring as Akshara, is the young girl who is now married to Naitik. She is very beautiful and seems like a girl next door. After marriage, along with her responsibilities to the family, she discovered the true feeling of love. The serial is about Marwari families and the ethics, traditions, culture and disciplines of the society are beautifully lined up in the serial with the importance of every small and big function and rituals of our life. Although the storyline of the serial is very simple, still it never bores me or any of my acquaintances who follow the serial regularly. If you are watching this, then you will also guess that how such a simple everyday story has the power to charm and attract you towards the serial.
Love, this simple is demonstrated with every feeling that we cannot express a lot of times to our loved ones. The realization of love after marriage is a nice and unique feeling. Moreover, the concept of joint family and maintaining the true relationship with everyone of the family is very necessary in the present concept of nuclear family. It is an eye-opener for today’s so frequent break-ups. So the serial wins TRPs because of its simplicities. There is not a single so called villain character in this serial which makes it unique and different from any other conventional serial. All the characters and their behavior in Akshara families are so natural that it makes us feel that the same thing is happening in our own life.
“Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai” is my favorite serial and perhaps till date I’ve missed just once or twice. It is aired on Star Plus, five days a week, from Monday to Friday, at 9.30 PM. What about you? Watch it today and share your feelings with me.
