Lincoln’s Daniel Day-Lewis has done a great job in the movie by beautifully portraying the man Abraham Lincoln besides, the actual political leader (the President) of the United States. His onscreen presence, his acting as the President Lincoln never make the viewers feel that he is an actor who has adopted certain effective skills for portraying the picture of the person, Lincoln. Rather the viewers got the notion that Daniel is Lincoln’s reincarnation, who has taken birth only to show the world how the person Lincoln was: his aspirations, his gains, his achievements and his feelings for the United States. Day-Lewis brought the legendary figure of the United States close to the common men’s hearts and makes them feel what the former late President of the United States actually did for the emancipation of serfs.

Joaquin Phoenix’s acting in the movie The Master deserves mention. He is successful in bringing up a kind of animalistic quality from the character named as Freddie Quell in the movie. Phoenix is definitely one of the talented actors we have in the filmmaking industry today. John Hawkes mesmerized the viewers with his acting in The Sessions. He is able to do justice with his role of a polio affected person wanting to seek out sex surrogate in the movie. Bradley Cooper has also performed gracefully in Silver Linings Playbook.
